What the order asks

The card combines four style minimums — Glamour, Gothic, Risqué, Elaborate — with a material share: sequins at least 50%. The documented route is a corset bodice, bell sleeves and a corset skirt, with sequins as the main body fabric; you can also run sequins over the whole dress and then re-check the style rows.

A documented finished draft shows how far the main-fabric approach can overshoot: Sequin 100/50 with all four style rows green at the sewing-complete stage.

A documented Art Appreciator draft at sewing-complete stage: Quality 81/80, Risqué 90/50, Glamour 106/80, Gothic 82/40, Elaborate 89/50 and Sequin 100/50 — all green. That is the make stage passing; the customer still decides at delivery, and 100% sequins is this example's choice, not the requirement. View full screenshot.

Make sequins the main fabric

The share follows how much of the dress the fabric covers, so plan the bodice and skirt in sequins before worrying about the last style points. To see every sequin option in the store, filter the fabric list by type: Sequin instead of scrolling the shelf.

How much is enough? A player on a different order (Fairy Mousemother) dressed only a belt and peplum in sequins and watched the count stall short of its target; adding a bow, ruffles, side panels and the whole bodice back got it there. That was a count row on another commission, not this share row — but the lesson transfers: small decorative pieces may not satisfy a sequin requirement. Let the big panels carry the share, then read the row again.

When a style row lags

  1. Check which of Glamour, Gothic, Risqué or Elaborate is short against its marker.
  2. Compare sequin fabrics by their style tags — sequins differ, and the right colour sequin can carry a style row while also feeding the share.
  3. Swap the remaining non-sequin pieces (collar, sleeves, accents) toward the missing style before touching the main panels.
  4. Recheck the share row after each change so it stays at or above its marker.

Before delivery

  1. Sequin share at or above its marker — the documented example reached 100/50, but the card only asks for the marker to be met.
  2. All four style rows green.
  3. Quality at its target; if it lags, review the measuring-to-sewing chain.
  4. Then finish and choose Complete Commission. This route is a documented starting point, not a proven cheapest build.
